Fall 2009 - Los Angeles Fashion Week

On March 14th, 2009 Skingraft showcased their Fall '09 collection at BoxEight's "Los Angeles Fashion Week" to one of the largest and most lively crowds of the week. The showcase featured Skingraft's full spectrum of ready-to-wear equestrian-inspired looks from their current collection and finished off with eight ornately detailed couture dresses. The show was inspired by "neo-Victorian royalty and overly tarnished motorcycles smashing into each other at high speeds." Exaggerated silhouettes and ornate detailing collided with slim corseted fits and metallic black body armor to create a look that was distinctive and chic. Racked LA called the show, "the most well-received show of the night," while Fabric Mag said the show "may just put L.A. more seriously on the fashion map."
